What is a Wellness Plan?

Wellness Plans are a great way to keep your pet up to date and healthy, while saving you money! They are not insurance but rather a package of preventative health care services bundled together and offered with savings.

What is not included in a Wellness Plan?

Medications and diagnostic testing such as x-rays are examples of what is not included in our plans.

Why is bloodwork so important?

It is important to do an initial blood test to have a baseline for your pet. This helps us know where your pet is and to be able to watch for any changes. Examples of things we check with blood tests are how well the kidneys, liver, and thyroid are functioning, red and white cell counts, and electrolyte balances. In Senior Wellness Plans the testing is more extensive to assess for common age related changes with your pet’s health.
